Clip Cards and other digital business cards
Most digital business card apps now sell to sales teams, with CRM sync and team plans. Clip Cards is made for the person holding the card, on iPhone. Here is what each one offers.
In short
- Clip Cards fits if you use an iPhone, want people to open your card without installing anything, and want your notes and scans to stay on your phone. It is free and invite-only for now.
- Another app fits better if you need CRM sync, a team admin console, an Android app for yourself, Apple Watch, or a card shop today. Clip Cards has none of these yet.

Where Clip Cards is different
- Native on iPhone. Your card opens in an App Clip, not a web page. Your QR sits on the Lock Screen during an event, in widgets, in Apple Wallet, and Siri, Spotlight and the Action button reach it.
- On the device. Paper cards and voice notes are read on your iPhone; the picture and the recording are not kept. People, notes and reminders stay on your iPhone.
- Nothing to track. No ads, no trackers, no cookies. Stats count opens without following anyone.
- Free. No subscription and no paid plan.
Where others are ahead
- CRM sync and teams. Popl, Mobilo and V1CE, and the business plans of Blinq, HiHello and Tapni, sync with a CRM. Most of them also let a company manage its team's cards.
- Android. Popl, Blinq, HiHello, Mobilo and Tapni have Android apps for the card owner. With Clip Cards, Android phones read cards but cannot make one.
- A shop. Blinq, Mobilo, V1CE, Tapni and dot. sell cards, stickers and more today.
- Apple Watch and AI assistants. Popl, Blinq and HiHello have Watch apps; Popl and Blinq let AI assistants read your contacts.
